Native Artist Makes New York Debut

New York jazz lovers were in for a special treat when Edinburgh-native Maeve Gilchrist and her Trio made their debut at The Cutting Room, New York on April 1.

Born in Edinburgh to an Irish mother and a Scottish father, Maeve was surrounded by traditional music from an early age. Now, her dazzling harp playing and haunting vocals have enchanted audiences all across Europe and North America and Native is delighted to manage the rising star.

Maeve and her Trio will also be performing at the National Trust for Scotland benefit at the Metropolitan Club, New York, on April 9.
Her debut CD, entitled “Reaching Me,” has just been released and is available now at CD Baby!
