Diageo, the world's largest drinks company with household named brands including Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker and Guinness engaged The Native Agency to provide support for its Global Communications Team on a number of projects.
The Native Agency were asked by Diageo to confidentially interview their Operational Director to allow for the global announcement of their £100 million operational expansion in Scotland. The Native Agency Group team interviewed Diageo’s Bryan Donaghey, Operational Director, to make this announcement simultaneously on password-protected website, on DVD and by private phoneline. This was completed with a very short turnaround with filming, editing and production taking place in a few days in order to maintain the necessary confidentiality.
The outcome was a very successful announcement that was fully featured in the global media, with no leaks to the press and excellent feedback from the Diageo Communications Team.
